We sometimes drive into situations that can temporarily change who we are. Those decisions come from a space of self doubt! When I felt I wasn’t enough, I drove head on into a situation that forced me to drop my mask! Sometimes I look back and wonder, what gave me the courage! So what I felt a little less some days! Inside the grave I realized there were other forces that contribute to the choices we make.
The past choices have an impact on the emotional stability and belief systems of an individual. The impressions collected through several different experiences play all out in future situations, circumstances & relations. And then the mind runs into chaos not knowing what to do!!
For some it takes a lot to be vulnerable, witnessing the ego shattering, the feeling of helplessness taking over and the hardest of all is to take the 1st step towards the change! In these moments of despair, what is needed is someone to care in silence, deep inside, one already knows what’s right and what needs to be done, the external “wordy” advice only bounce off the wound, bruising it further!
What’s needed is someone to listen!
What’s needed is someone to understand!
Someone to match the pace!
Some air to breathe!
What’s needed is a little space!
A little support! may be a thought-provoking conversation!
What’s needed is to reinstall faith!
What’s needed is for you to never give up! No matter how unreasonably stubborn I get!
What’s needed is for someone to show up who can hold my space because in those times, my world appears blurry, my heart is racing beyond control and fears have wrapped me tight!!
The most beautiful expression of existence is love and the most valued is compassion!
Be compassionate because I can do with a little love, little support, little silence, little hope and understanding when it gets too dark!
Don’t tell me, listen to me! listen to my silence you might just hear my cry!
